Back in the ATL for a week… it’s true I’ve been known to criticize the place a fair bit, but I find that the jury’s still out on this one.
The main issue is probably that I’m about an hour north of downtown, so my immediate environment is not exactly exciting and exotic — the place looks like Longueil, Arkansas, so to speak. Georgia seems beautiful though. Between here and Charlotte, my opinion of the South has in fact significantly improved — I actually didn’t have any expectations the first time around, neither good nor bad. And most people I’ve met really are laid-back and friendly.
This time I’m by myself, so I’m a little bored down here, but it’s only for five days so it’s not so bad. Well, it wouldn’t be so bad if the hotel wifi would hold the friggin’ connection for more than 30s at a time.

3 semaines sans update, et toujours pas d’excuse a l’horizon… je suppose que je me trouve un rythme. Anyway, il y a du neuf. D’abord les 5j de Dorine ici, en route pour Londres. Etrange, on ne s’est pas vu depuis 5 ou 6 ans, mais… c’est comme si c’était hier! 5j de vacances bien utilisés, à (faire) découvrir Montréal. Profiter de ma ville… ca n’a pas de prix!
Après ca, une semaine de retour au Nouveau-Brunswick. Pas spécialement excitant, mais bon, le boulot va pas se faire tout seul. Le facteur tourisme commence a manquer (c’est la quatrième semaine dans les sapins). En mesure de protestation, pas de photos (mais celles du week-end sur la côte avec Mel vont arriver, même si vous avez perdu espoir. Vous serez surpris).
